I'm not going through the process of parting out the car,
but selling parts is nothing less than a part time job.And I just had to laugh about your statements regarding
people leading you on up to the point where it comes for
them to send a payment, and then they disapear from the
face of the earth. I listed about 50 parts for sale in the classifieds and ofcourse
I had alot of people inquiring about the same parts. So I would
deal with the first person to ask, not selling the part until a
sale either went through with them or not. What a stupid
mistake, buy the time I had dealt with the first person to the
point where they needed to pay (2-3 days), they get abducted
by aliens and the other 2-3 people that were interested in the
part are no longer responding. Ya nothin but headaches, packaging, boxing, calculating postage.
But I do like seeing these parts go to other owners that will
put them to good use. I will say there are alot of good experienced buyers on this
site which make the succesful sales a real pleasure. Here's what my kitchen has looked like for the last 2 weeks.
Still alot to sell, and when I get rid of the 300 parts, I got about a month of ebaying to do.
